Your prayer life is between you and God. Prayer Guard was engineered so that it stays that way.

What Prayer Guard stores — and where

Everything Prayer Guard creates lives only on your device: your guarded-app list, guard schedules, prayer journal entries, streaks, moods, and settings. There is no account system, no cloud sync, and no server that receives your data. Uninstalling the app removes this data.

What Prayer Guard does not do

• No collection of personal information — we never ask for your name, email, or contacts
• No reading of your screen content, messages, or typing
• No selling or sharing of data with third parties — there is nothing to sell
• No advertising SDKs or cross-app trackers

Android permissions, explained

Prayer Guard requests only the Android permissions required to detect when a guarded app is launched and to display the prayer pause screen over it. These permissions are used strictly for that purpose, processed entirely on-device, and can be revoked at any time in your phone's settings (Prayer Guard will simply stop guarding apps).

Children

Prayer Guard is a self-accountability tool intended for users managing their own devices. It does not knowingly collect data from anyone — including children — because it does not collect data at all.
